Memento Mori Amor Fati Engraved Pendant Bar Necklace

Memento Mori is a Latin reminder that we are mortal. While it may be a sobering reminder of the temporary nature of life, it does not need to be a morbid reflection on death. In his Meditations, Marcus Aurelius (121-180 CE) wrote a collection of personal thoughts and reflections on life, death and what it means to live a meaningful life. He sums up one of the primary tenets of Stoic Philosophy in a sentence: "Death overshadows you. While you’re alive and able — be good.”
